'Menai Bridge from Cambria Road', Menai Bridge, Anglesey, 30x30cm oil on canvas board (framed)

£600.00

This painting of the Menai Bridge is from Cambria Road. I often jog past this spot in the morning prior to crossing the bridge and heading off in one direction or another. This particular location has a great view of the magnificent bridge past the chimney pots. The scene reflects a normal winters morning, with changeable weather and some blue sky breaking through.

Fun Wiki Fact -  The Menai Bridge was built in 1826. Spanning 580 feet (180 m), this was the longest suspension bridge in the world at the time. It was designed and built by Thomas Telford, like me a Scottish Engineer (albeit considerably more famous :) ).
